Meet Nayaswami Shanti

Nayaswami Shanti is a lifelong devotee of Paramhansa Yogananda and a Stanford trained medical doctor. With warmth, wisdom, and a natural storytelling style, she shares insights from her years as a physician and her decades on the spiritual path.

Shanti is a much-loved teacher and counselor, guiding people through practical ways to bring greater balance, health, and clarity into their lives. She combines her medical background with spiritual coaching in her practice of Transformational Medicine, helping people align body, mind, and spirit.

Brahmacharini Lakshmi is an Ananda minister and engaging teacher known for her warmth, clarity, and energy. She shares practical wisdom with the community and blends mindfulness with academics at her local high school.

Kavita

Kavita is the Centre Leader for Ananda New Zealand and a lifelong devotee of Yogananda. She shares Kriya Yoga with a conversational style, using storytelling to make spiritual teachings accessible and relevant to daily life.
